In the first 18 months of FOCI, the main objective of WP 1 was to build a detailed, comprehensive, and observations-based dataset of anthropogenic non-CO2 species. This includes climate relevant gases and aerosol properties which will be later used to constrain the model sensitivity simulations.

The data provided to FOCI by WP 1 is described in the finalized deliverable D1.1: “Harmonized dataset of in-situ and column integrated aerosols and gas-phase species”, produced by the CSIC.
Milestone M1.1: datasets for non-CO2 species was achieved.
This work has made significant progress to achieve Objective 1 of FOCI and contributes to Objective 3.
